On Friday 15th November, the Diverse team gathered at the Print Hall Chairman’s Lounge in the heart of the Perth CBD. With a prompt 12pm beginning, the Lenovo ThinkSummit powered by Diverse Services began. This luncheon provided guests a great opportunity to discover more about software-defined infrastructure and the benefits of hyper-converged infrastructure.

As guests arrived, the event began with networking and introductions before guests took their seat in the venue. David Horth, the Technical Services Manager for Diverse Services began with the introductions as entrees were served. David had the pleasure of explaining to guests more in depth about Diverse’s own journey surrounding SDI and HCI during our recent software refresh project in our own data centers. Charlie Lawford, the HCI Specialist for Lenovo Data Center Group took over to deliver the keynote presentation including Lenovo’s strategy and cloud performance.

Following the keynote presentation, the delicious main courses were served following by dessert and closing remarks. The remainder of the luncheon provided a valuable opportunity for more open networking with guests, including sharing their own expertise and knowledge with other attendees.
