To our managed service customers,

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced today the major cyberattack that is currently targeting the Australian Government and most Australian businesses. We have received information from the ACSC on the indicators those threat actors may be using to target Australian organisations.

To protect our customers, we have actioned the following:

  • Blacklisted the email addresses reported by the ACSC being used for spearphishing attacks;

  • Blacklisted the IP addresses targeting public-facing applications;

  • Blacklisted the malicious URLs and domains reported by the ACSC;

We recommend that you keep maintaining a high degree of security and caution when accessing websites and opening emails.

We are actively monitoring your network and infrastructure and will advise you should any issue arise.

Defence Minister Linda Reynolds has announced three critical steps that should be taken by all businesses:

  • Patch your internet-facing devices promptly

  • Implement Multi-Factor Authentication across your business

  • Register to the ACSC to receive the latest cybersecurity threat advice
